This course teaches how to identify, understand and respond to a mental health or substance use challenge in adults.
About this Event

Your instructor Lucila Beaton, LISW-CP/S is an independently licensed clinical social worker with a specialization in TF-CBT. She is also a Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and provides suicide intervention and prevention trainings such as ASIST and SafeTALK. Lucila also provides Triple P parent training in English and Spanish.


Your other instructor, Heydie Nieves, is a Bilingual Prevention Case Management Specialish with a master's degree in Psychology. She is a Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor in Spanish and English for Adults and Adults Assisting Youth. She is fascinated with mental health. Her goal is to be able to help people with their Mental Health. She tries to help with the barriers so that people have positive mental health.
