Explore the painting techniques of the Baroque masters with painter and Head Conservator Allen Kosanovich. Start the day with a discussion of materials and techniques, followed by a tour of the Baroque gallery, drawing inspiration from works by Caravaggio to Zurbarán. Kosanovich then guides participants through the multilayered painting process used during the period, as you practice capturing its dramatic light and rich colors. $125; $100 members, Hartford residents, and college students with ID.
