Join us for a morning of carpentry making a stool!Spend some quality time together with your child or young person, learn basic carpentry techniques and tool use.
Doing something practical is so important for our mental well-being and creativity. It also teaches important life skills. In this workshop you will learn how to make a small stool from recycled pallet wood. You and your young person will learn how to mark out and saw wood, how to use a screwdriver, hammer, nails and screws.
You will walk away with a finished stool and the skills to make simple carpentry projects at home!
The course ticket is for 2 people: one child or young person (8-16 years) and one adult (any age or gender. You don't have to be a parent either. You can be an uncle, a grandmother, god-parent, carer etc).
