About this Event
Adopting a Mentoring Mindset is a practical training that strengthens how people connect, communicate, and build trust in their professional and personal lives.
This session introduces a powerful shift, from fixing and directing to listening, partnering, and empowering. Participants learn how intentional presence, empathy, and authenticity can transform relationships, improve communication, and increase their impact in any setting.
Grounded in research from Becoming a Better Mentor, the training helps participants:
- Build trust-based, respectful relationships
- Communicate with empathy and cultural humility
- Support others’ growth by centering their strengths and experiences
- Create environments where people feel valued and motivated to thrive
Designed for mentors, educators, professionals, leaders, and community members alike, this training delivers practical tools participants can immediately apply in mentoring conversations, classrooms, teams, workplaces, and communities.
A mentoring mindset doesn’t just change how we work; it changes how we relate to others. And that’s where real impact begins.
