This is the coolest thing to hit the Adirondacks since the Ice Age. Adirondack Retro Nerdfest is a celebration of old-school pop culture sponsored by ABA, Media Arts Club and WGFR. The day includes free-play arcade with pinball and video games; vendors of vinyl, comics, cards, collectibles, fan art and all kinds of cool, nerdy stuff; live DJs spinning vinyl; "Super Smash Brothers" tournament hosted by SUNY Adirondack Gaming Club; cosplay costume contest hosted by SUNY Adirondack Theater Club; and delicious snacks from SUNY Adirondack Culinary Arts Club.
The public is invited to attend; $5 admission; free for SUNY Adirondack students. This is held in Northwest Bay Conference Center, in Adirondack Hall.
