Adinda Hertmans is a 24-year-old jazz singer, songwriter and lyricist, with both the Dutch and Belgian nationality. Based in Brussels, she spent two years studying jazz vocals at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague before completing her Masters degree at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in June of 2025. In recognition of her final exam performance and graduating 'magna cum laude', Adinda received the prestigious "Toots Thielemans Jazz Award". As part of this distinction, she has the opportunity to present her project at the Brussels Jazz Festival at Flagey (Studio 4) in January 2027.Adinda is a dedicated singer, vocal coach and active performing musician, regularly appearing in venues, halls and jazz clubs. She performs in various musical formations, including her band: "Adinda Hertmans Quartet", consisting of Wajdi Riahi (piano), Fil Caporali (double bass) and Daniel Jonkers (drums). A new project with Diederik Wissels (piano) is in the making with the prospect of the release of their first album, coming out in 2026.
