About this Event
Why Attend?
If you’ve ever been called:
- Overly sensitive
- Too “emotional”
- Unable to handle criticism
…then you know how it feels when you seem to be experiencing negative feelings in a disproportionate way to the majority of people.
RSD - rejection sensitive dysphoria - is a term used to describe emotional disregulation amongst ADHDers, when we’ve often experienced an unusual volume of negative messaging in our lives, trying to live in a world that doesn’t accommodate us.
And in this workshop, we’ll be using colour to help us get to grips with:
- How it shows up in our lives
- Name it to tame it: recognising what’s happening to us and why
- The thought traps: how to test whether we should trust our negative thoughts, and what might be influencing them
- Coping strategies, tools and techniques to help soften the edges.
The morning:
09:30: Registration
10:00: Session starts
11:30: Feedback, questions and chat
Speaker bio:
Suzy is an ADHD coach with ADHD! She's worked in business support and business development for more than twenty years, and after processing her own late in life diagnosis she retrained to help other people get to grips with their brains and their businesses.
She now runs the Technicolour Project, specialises in helping ADHD entrepreners to thrive as they build, run and grow businesses that work with their brains, not against them.
Our special interests are impulsivity and handling negative emotions… and Care Bears!
