About this Event
Talk Description
ADHD and neurodivergence have never been more visible in public conversation—but with visibility comes oversimplification and misunderstanding. In this talk, Professor Dave Coghill invites audiences to move past trends and stereotypes to understand the real science driving this rapidly evolving field. Drawing on decades of clinical and research expertise, Professor Coghill will explore what ADHD actually is, how it presents across childhood and adolescence, and why neurodivergence is far more diverse—and more nuanced—than popular narratives suggest. From cutting edge research to world leading clinical pathways, he will illuminate how evidence can be translated into better care, stronger systems, and more supportive communities. Whether you’re new to the topic or seeking deeper insight, this session offers a grounded, accessible look at why understanding neurodivergence matters now more than ever, and what it means for our collective future.
