We are forming a new Adelaide Playback Theatre company and you’re invited to join us.These open rehearsals will be facilitated by Sammy Doncamara, Sarah Wilson and Ann Baker. For anyone curious about Playback Theatre, whether you’re completely new or already experienced, you are welcome.

Playback Theatre is an improvised drama form that uses voice, body, metaphor, text and sound to bring real personal stories to life. We listen deeply, then respond in action to honour the story shared.
Across these sessions you will:
• Refresh, build or extend your Playback skills
• Develop spontaneity
• Strengthen listening and empathy
• Practise connection and ensemble work
These open rehearsals are part of building a committed Adelaide company. If you’ve ever wanted to explore Playback Theatre, this is your invitation.
