Anyone who has attended Dance Club knows that 9 year old Rose is dying to run the show. So I decided to give her the chance.Rose and her best friend Avie will lead their own version of Dance Club, this time geared especially for kids. Rose and Avie have made a playlist of songs they know kids love to dance to. They've learned their way around dj equipment. And they have prepared some simple dances and games to get the whole room moving. Finally they have invited one of their grown up Fringe favourites to come along and do what they do best.
Ticket prices are full price for kids with a nominal ($1) fee for their accompanying adult. This is our way of acknowledging that it can be prohibitively costly to take kids to the Fringe, and our way to mitigate that for families somewhat. We hope that everyone (grownups included) will join in though!
