About this Event
Join Upstream Prevention as we continue our Prevention 101 series with another training created by the Great Lakes Prevention Technology Transfer Center, this time focusing on a building block of prevention priorities: risk factors! Participants will be introduced to risk factors (specifically as they relate to youth substance misuse), dive deep into some risk factors in across domains, and be challenged to think about how to apply this information to community prevention work and the work they do when interacting with youth and families.
We'll be at the Clark Pleasant JCPL Branch (350 Clearwater Blvd Whiteland, IN) on April 16, 2026, from 11:00 - 1:30 p.m. for this Lunch & Learn.
Attendees are eligible for Indiana Category 1 CE (Provider License #98001095A) if they attend the whole session (2 contact hours). Funding for this community education workshop is provided in part by a grant from the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s Division of Mental Health and Addiction. While being hosted at JCPL, this meeting is neither sponsored nor endorsed by the Johnson County Public Library.
