Join us for an engaging and informative session on Adaptive Paddling, focused on making paddlesports more accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for people of all abilities. Whether you’re an instructor, paddler, educator, caregiver, or community member, you’ll leave with practical strategies for adapting equipment and teaching approaches to support participation on the water.Led by: Barry Collert, Adaptive Paddling Instructor

What we’ll cover:
Foundations of adaptive and universal paddling
Outfitting and modifying equipment for diverse needs
Instructional strategies that prioritize safety, comfort, and dignity
Building more inclusive paddlesports programs and communities
We’ll also hear a short presentation from Team River Runners, highlighting their mission to get veterans on the water through paddlesports.
Cost: Free (offered at no cost due to community support)
Who it’s for: Open to paddlers of all genders and experience levels
