About this Event
Join us for an Adaptive Gaming Night designed specifically for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), their families, and anyone curious about accessible gaming.
This beginner-friendly event is all about exploring what’s possible. Whether you’ve never picked up a controller or you’re looking for new ways to make gaming more accessible, this is a space to learn, try, and have fun at your own pace.
Guests will have the opportunity to:
-Try a variety of adaptive gaming equipment and controllers
-Learn how games can be customized to fit different needs and abilities
-Get hands-on guidance and support from staff
-Ask questions and explore resources for getting started at home
No prior gaming experience is needed—just curiosity! Our goal is to create a welcoming, low-pressure environment where everyone can discover how gaming can be accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable.
Ada's Makery, an inclusive makerspace where individuals of all abilities learn, create, and build real job skills, will be there to introduce themselves and help attendees learn about what they do.
Refreshments will be provided!
Come explore, play, and see what’s possible.
