The Minnesota Spinal Cord Injury Association (MNSCIA) is hosting the popular Adaptive Demo Day on Sunday, August 1 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Fish Lake Park in Maple Grove. This FREE event celebrates MNSCIA’s birthday and is a wonderful opportunity to:
- Get out on the water with adaptive kayaks and paddle boards
- Test out a variety of adapted hand cycles, including a power-assist mountain trike
- Learn about adaptive SCUBA
- Socialize, eat, and meet new friends with similar experiences
All mobility disabilities are welcome, and we encourage you to bring your friends and family along for the fun! If you'd only like to observe and socialize, we'd still love for you to join us.
The event is put on thanks to support from volunteers, sponsors, and Three Rivers Park System.
