Learn simple changes in your approach to gardening that will make it easier to achieve the results you want in this free workshop, one in our monthly Gardening for Year-Round Meals series. The workshops take place in Davis United Church's Grace Garden, a volunteer-run, 5/8-acre garden that provides thousands of pounds of fresh produce to help feed the hungry every year. The garden also provides teaching and outreach to educate the community about gardening, the environment, and sustainable practices.
Master Gardener Karen Slinkard will lead the workshop. Karen has studied agriculture and grown food in Yolo County for more than 50 years and enjoys sharing her experience with new and veteran gardeners alike.
Learn more about Yolo County master gardener events on our website, where you can also subscribe to our monthly newsletter, The Yolo Gardener.
The mission of the UC Master Gardener Program is to deliver the latest UC research directly into the hands of people who share a passion for gardening and environmental stewardship.
