Adapt Summer BBQ and Showcase

Come as you are. This one is for you.

On Saturday, July 18, Adapt Functional Movement Center is throwing open the doors — and the parking lot — for our Summer BBQ & Community Showcase. It's a free, full-day celebration of the adaptive and neurological community, and everyone who is part of it.

Whether you're a member who has trained with us for years, a family member who has watched someone you love work hard here, a community organization doing incredible work, or someone who just found out we exist — you belong at this event.

What to expect:

• 🍖 BBQ and refreshments — all food is provided, compliments of Adapt

• 💃 Adaptive dance class led by a nationally recognized instructor — open to all ability levels, seated and standing. Come ready to move.

• 🎯 Laser tag, cornhole, bocce, spikeball, giant Jenga, relay races, water balloons, and more in our outdoor space

• 🎵 Live music

• 🏪 Community Expo — meet adaptive and disease-state organizations, discover resources, connect with people who understand your journey

• 🎁 Adapt merch and raffle prizes

• 🧘 A quiet indoor rest area whenever you need a moment to step back and recharge

This event is fully accessible. If you have specific needs, please let us know when you RSVP and we will make sure you are set up for a great day.

Who is this for?

Adapt serves individuals living with spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, ALS, Parkinson's, stroke, muscular dystrophy, and other neurological and neuromuscular conditions. This event is for them — and for every person in their circle. Family members, caregivers, friends, healthcare providers, community organizations, and neighbors are all welcome.

You don't have to be an Adapt member to come. You just have to show up.
