On the first night of November, Adam Gollob & his band will present his debut album Impressions live for the very first time at Manyi!
Adam Gollob graduated from the Bartók Conservatory as a jazz guitar major. As guitarist of Fingerfisher—a band fusing alternative, progressive, and psychedelic rock—he has steadily integrated into the local club scene over the past year and a half. His self-titled project is solo in the truest sense: from composition and instrumentation to mixing, he handled every step alone. The result is a profound and candid self-portrait that reflects both the imperfections and the transformation he underwent during the creative process.
With airy psychedelia, hypnotic synthesizers, and exotic timbres, Impressions, creates a unique atmosphere. The multi-instrumentalist introduces his solo project under the banner of Blue Sun, Budapest’s independent concept label. Rich in ideas and emotions, the LP blends elements of new wave, indie rock, alternative electronica, and neo-psychedelia, evoking Coltrane in its title and Mount Kimbie in its sound.
The concert also marks the debut of the vinyl edition, pressed on a spectacular marbled blue record with a printed inner sleeve designed by Idil Emiroglu. A few of the limited glittery cassette versions will also be available directly from the label at the spot.
Opening the night is Mádava — a rising local talent and contributor to Blue Sun’s very first compilation. Worth arriving early!

November első estéjén Adam Gollob és zenekara először mutatja be élőben debütáló albumát, az Impressions-t a Manyiban!
Gollob Ádám a Bartók Konzervatóriumban végzett jazzgitár szakon. Az alternatív, progresszív és pszichedelikus rock elemeket ötvöző Fingerfisher gitárosaként az elmúlt másfél évben fokozatosan épült be a klubzenei szcéna vérkeringésébe. Saját neve alatt futó projektje a szó legszorosabb értelmében véve is szóló: a zeneszerzéstől a hangszerelésen át a keverésig mindent egymaga végzett el. A végeredmény így egy mélyreható, és a tökéletlenséget is vállaló tükörkép önmagáról és az átalakulásról, amin az alkotó folyamat során átesett.
Könnyed pszichedéliával, hipnotikus szintetizátorokkal és egzotikus hangszínekkel teremt különleges atmoszférát az Impressions. A multiinstrumentalista zenész a Blue Sun – Budapest független konceptkiadója – égisze alatt mutatja be szólóprojektjét. A gondolat-és érzelemgazdag LP a new wave, indie rock, alternatív elektronika és a neo-pszichedélia stílusjegyeit ötvözve idézi meg egyszerre címével Coltrane és hangzásvilágával a Mount Kimbie szellemét.
A koncert egyben az album bakelitverziójának a bemutatója is, amely impozáns márványkék lemezen jelenik meg, nyomtatott belső borítóval, amit Idil Emiroglu tervezett. A helyszínen a kiadótól a korábban megjelent, limitált példányszámú csillámos kazetta is elérhető lesz.
Az estét Mádava nyitja - a fiatal helyi tehetség, aki a Blue Sun első válogatásán is szerepelt. Érdemes korán érkezni!
