About this Event
Join us for an informative lecture on acupuncture as a tool for managing chronic pain. This session will explore how acupuncture offers a gentle, noninvasive approach to complement traditional pain management plans. By stimulating the body’s natural healing process, acupuncture helps relieve pain through endorphin release and can influence brain areas that regulate serotonin, a mood-related chemical.
This lecture will cover the effectiveness of acupuncture for conditions such as headaches, neck, back, or knee pain, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, post-operative pain, menstrual cramps, tennis elbow, and myofascial pain. In addition to the lecture, participants will experience a live acupuncture demonstration in a group setting, with guidance from a certified expert and time for questions.
