Are you curious about what acupuncture can do for your horse? Maybe you're looking for a more holistic approach to your horses health care. Join us for an afternoon of learning with Dr. Denise Bickel, DVM CVA, at Dressage by Jayne, in Dexter, MI.Dr. Bickel graduated from Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. In 2008, she founded her first mobile equine veterinary service which operated for 16 years. Her practice, Whole Life Veterinary Services, now offers expert holistic mobile veterinary care. She is a certified veterinary acupuncturist, and pursued further education at Chi University in Ocala, Florida.
Dr. Bickel will be sharing her knowledge about Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, the different types of acupuncture, their applications, and how they can work alongside Western Medicine Practices to give your horse a more complete and holistic approach to their care and support.
From 1-3 we will be in the house on property, where Dr. Bickel will share give us the foundational information we need to understand how Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture works. From 3-4, we will head down to the barn for a hands on demonstration.
Snacks, water and tea will be provided, as well as note taking supplies and an informational packet from Dr. Bickel.
Cost: $45 for the afternoon. Pre-registration and payment required. Closing date for registry is January 15th. Payment is non-refundable except in the case of reschedule or organizer cancellation.
