ACUA return to Lancaster for their 2026 UK Tour!The psych-pop band from Cologne are on the road in anticipation of the upcoming release of their new album, the first singles from which have showcased the band’s evolving sound.
Expect atmospheric guitars, driving drums, swirling synthesizers, and melodic basslines. They’ll be joined by local support from Kodak Kid and Boo Kickz.
ACUA:
After over 100 concerts and successful tours across Europe, Canada, the UK and Japan, as well as the release of two studio albums, ACUA is currently preparing the release of their third album. Patrick (vocals, guitar), Caroline (drums), Maja (synthesizer), and Igor (bass) have built a remarkable reputation through their captivating, hypnotic live shows.
ACUA has shared the stage as support act for artists such as FKJ, Darwin Deez, The Japanese House, Sam Evian, and OMNI. They have also performed at prominent festivals like Melt! Festival, Reeperbahn Festival, Canadian Music Week and Herzberg Festival. This Autumn they will release a new studio album – the first single of which “Now And Nothing” is out now.
Kodak Kid:
Kodak Kid is the alias of Luke Benjamin, a London raised, Lancaster based singer songwriter whose genre melding sounds and baritone voice has drawn comparisons to Damon Albarn and King Krule amongst others. His output is self described “escapist music for alienated souls” drawing from influences as disparate as No Wave, Post Punk, Jazz, Hip Hop, Dub and Dream Pop.
Through 2021 into 2022 he released the singles “Wake”, “Everyone Has Their Summer” and “Goodbye”. In 2025 Kodak Kid returned with the release “Junk” which blends golden age hip-hop, Latin, and jazz. Featuring Seye Adelekan’s (Gorillaz) bass grooves & Dilip Harris’ (King Krule) unconventional additional production, Kodak brought an exuberantly summery and stoned groove for the weary.
Kodak Kid returned in 2026 with a mini UK tour with a 6 piece band previewing his debut EP due later in the year.
