This 3 hour course is perfect for the beginner or veteran actor looking to create a character that captures the attention of the audience. Whether you want to improve your public speaking skills, enhance your performance on stage, or prepare for upcoming auditions. Smokestack’s Artistic Director, James Anderson will introduce you to acting techniques including physical and vocal warm-ups as you prepare and rehearse a pre-selected monologue. All registrants should bring a memorized 90-120 second monologue of their choosing. No experience necessary. Ages 16+ only. Monologues may feature adult content.
