About this Event
Premiering in the Green Zone at COP28, ActNowFilm: youth climate leaders in conversation with climate experts is a short film featuring 1-2-1 conversations between youth climate leaders and world-leading climate experts. It aims to act as a clarion call for the integration of young people into national climate negotiating teams and global climate decision-making processes.
The film features prominent youth climate leaders including Pamela EA, Inés Yábar, Renata Koch Alvarenga, Angela Busheska, Nicc Moeono and Dinh-Long Pham in conversation with world-leading climate experts including Christiana Figueres, Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim, Professor Katharine Hayhoe, Dr Myrna Cunningham Kain, Ambassador Patricia Espinosa Cantellano, Sir David King and Professor Johan Rockström.
Participants come from every continent, except Antarctica, with representation from 33 countries and include leaders from indigenous communities, business, policy, activism, academia, the third sector and international organisations.
The premiere of the film will be accompanied by a panel discussion.
