Join us on Saturday 15th March 2025 from 10.00am till 4.00pm at Weston Creek Community Centre, Whitney Place, (just off Parkinson Street) Weston ACT (adjacent to Cooleman Court).Admission: Adults $6.00; Children aged 5-12 $3.00; Children under 5 free.
Each year the ACTME club members create an exhibition for the public to view. In 2025 the theme will be "Including the Kitchen Sink" - a collection of miniature scenes, that are well and truly left to the imagination - ie frying pan scenes, and/or other kitchen gadgets. This will also be a mix of club projects as well as individual members' projects, showcasing our artistic and creative talents.
Our show is a fantastic way of meeting our super talented club members. If you are creative and love miniatures as much as we do, consider becoming a club member.
The show offers items for sale from a selection of local and interstate artisans and traders. You will be able to find treasures in a variety of scales (1:12; 1:24; 1:48; etc). A variety of kits to create; dolls & teddy bears; traditional & modern furniture; a gastronomic array of food; a range of books & magazines; fabric; ribbon; rugs; timber trims; flooring; wallpaper; lighting; in fact anything you may need for your miniature projects.
2025 marks another year of donating ACTME Show profits to a worthy community group - 'Pegasus Riding for the Disabled in the ACT'. Many years ago we donated to Pegasus, before Black Mountain School and MULCH. We found our way back on this very special year. Pegasus marks its 50th Birthday this year.
