Activity Volunteer Awards

Folkestone & Hythe District Council has partnered with the The Sports Trust and Kent County Council to offer young people engaged in their local community, the chance to develop their leadership skills. The Activity Volunteer Award, issued by the Leadership Skills Foundation, provides an accredited learning pathway into volunteering for young people age 13+. They will develop transferable core skills: problem-solving; self-belief; communication; team-work and self-management.
