AAC with Alma & Me is an inclusive social group centered on connecting children and families who useAugmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) through adapted story times, group activities, and social connection. Our group was inspired by Alma, a sign language and AAC user, to build a community of AAC users, advocates, and allies.
• Led with an ASHA certified speech language pathologist.
• Open to all children, including those with or without developmental delays.
• AAC experience is not required to participate. All are welcome!
• AAC devices and low-tech core boards available at each story time to explore.
