Meet at Gateshead Interchange to join our journey to the coast @ 10am
Stretch your legs and join our walk along the coast, from Cullercoats to Tynemouth. We will be travelling by Metro to Cullercoats and walking along the cliffs to Tynemouth approx. 2 miles. This route has many opportunites for rest breaks to enjoy the amazing views to sea and will be at a pace comfortable for everyone.
The Active Travel team will ensure no one walks alone or is left behind.
Enjoy this activity with other like minded people, good company, good conversation and fresh air make for the perfect day.
Once in Tynemouth, feel free to enjoy refreshments or bring your own if you prefer-eat and enjoy the view.
We plan to head back to Gateshead approx. 2.30pm, participants are welcome to stay longer if they wish, just please let the Walk leaders know your plans.
A one day Metro Ticket costs £6.70 for all zones necessary, but any travel passes will be valid during the off-peak hours we are travelling.
