A gentle stroll around Braunton Burrows interspersed with nature connection activities and reflections on how to be grateful for nature, honour our pain for the world, seeing with new and ancient eyes and go forth with active hope. This session is based on the ‘Active Hope’ philosophy and work of Joanna Macey. It is tailored to adults (rather than families or children) and is an invitation for people to get involved with honesty and an open heart. Meet at Sandy Lane Car Park at 10am.

In the case of bad weather, we will relocate to the Centre and surrounds and we will notify you the day before the session.
*The Braunton Countryside Centre is a small volunteer-run charity. We rely on donations to keep our doors open and maintain a vibrant events programme. We also want to make sure our events are open to all, regardless of circumstances. So, although we do not charge event fees, we do ask for a suggested minimum donation of £4 per person, but any amount you are happy/able to give would be greatly appreciated. If you wish to further contribute to our running costs, you can become a Friend of Braunton Countryside Centre for £15 per year. Please find the details on our website, or ask at the Centre.
