Acting class for adults to explore imagination. No previous experience in acting required.
About this Event

When:

Fortnightly on Tuesdays at 12.30-1.45 pm between 7th October 2025 and 27th January 2026


About the Event:

The class consists of a series of exercises that explore imagination and creativity, such as character creations, walking, physical actions, or short speeches. The exercises may be in groups, pairs or individually. The main inspiration for these classes comes from the Michael Chekhov technique. Available for all levels. No previous experience in acting required.



How to attend:

Book via Eventbrite (Preferred) or drop-in on the day



Suggested donations :

This event is on a suggested donation sliding scale. Please decide in what category you fall and what you might be able to contribute. Tiers are:


  • £4 - Concession Tier 1
  • £8 - Sustainable Tier 2
  • £10+ Generous Tier 3

About the Facilitator:

I love running acting classes that are fun, welcoming, and full of creativity -no matter your background or experience. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned from studying theatre across the UK, Finland, and the US, bringing a mix of different ideas and approaches to the creative process.

More About Donations:

Participation in our community-led events is on a voluntary ‘by donation’ basis. This means that nobody is expected to make a payment if they cannot afford to do so.

Any donations received will be shared between the Centre and the facilitator, helping to make the events’ programme sustainable

For events which are Drop-ins you can donate on the day by:

  • Bringing cash

  • Card payment option available at the entrance hall (Please enter the event name before making payment)
