Acting for Camera Lessons Acting for the camera is a unique skill that differs from stage performance. In our "Acting for Camera" lessons, we focus on the specific techniques and nuances required for on-screen acting.
Throughout the classes, we provide a camera kit that will be present, and you will have the opportunity to be filmed during most of the sessions. This allows you to see yourself on screen and discover how others perceive your performance. You will learn the effectiveness of different camera shots and how to adapt your movements and presence within the frame.
We explore various forms of acting, including monologues, duologues, and direct performances to the camera lens. Through playback, you will be able to analyze your performances, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement. Our sessions are designed to be creative and provide a safe space for self-expression and vulnerability as you navigate the world of acting for the camera.
