About this Event
Join Little Lighthouse Productions for a two-day Acting for Film workshop led by professional actor Brett Lark. This hands-on course will introduce participants to the fundamentals of on-camera acting, including scene work, audition techniques, and how to deliver authentic performances for film.
Students will also be introduced to the Meisner Technique, a widely used acting method that helps performers create natural, emotionally honest performances by focusing on listening, reacting, and staying present in the moment.
Brett Lark began performing in theater productions in Aspen, Colorado before eventually pursuing acting professionally. After building and selling several successful businesses, he followed his passion for acting, landing commercial work and performing as Tarzan in Tarzan the Musical before relocating to Los Angeles to train and work in the film industry.
Participants will perform scenes on camera and receive direction and feedback to help build confidence and screen presence.
With film production continuing to grow along the Gulf Coast, local filmmakers and producers are actively looking for talented actors. This workshop is designed to help participants develop the skills needed to stand out and catch the attention of producers casting for upcoming feature films and projects.
No experience required.
