Mark your calendars for ACT’s 20th Anniversary Community Celebration on June 8th from 11 am - 2 pm! We are hosting a FREE community-wide, family-friendly event featuring music, food, games, and more!As Alexandria’s community foundation, ACT brings together local government, local businesses, nonprofits and people like you to create a place where everyone has an opportunity to thrive.
Come connect with neighbors as you enjoy eats from local food trucks, take in an exhibit featuring local artists, participate in a community art project, or get a refreshing beverage from guest bartender Trae Lamond of Chadwicks.
And because supporting and amplifying the work of Alexandria's nonprofits is central to ACT's work, three nonprofits - UpCycle, Heard, and Local Motion Project - will be hosting activities for all ages.
This will be an afternoon of celebration, not just for ACT but for all the ways we have come together as a community over the past two decades to better Alexandria through philanthropy and partnership!
