Are you interested in taking your acrylic paint pouring skills to the next level? If so, this class is for you! Art and science will merge as participants take a more technical approach to fluid art painting. There is some predictability in fluid art, such as understanding how different paints react together or to different additives, and the role of viscosity and consistency. Participants will expand their knowledge of the art of paint pouring by practicing new techniques and applying them to a larger canvas (16 X 20 or 12 X 24). (Paintings will need to be picked up at a later date when dry.)
Students should have previously taken the standard class and/or have experience with the basic concepts of acrylic pour painting, such as understanding the goal of making colors flow and stretch over a base with minimal blending.
