About this Event
Only For Return Students!
You need an access code to book the photoshoot. You can find it in our Whatsapp group. We want to know you from class if you come. And you have to know acroyoga prior.
Coming to one class is enough to join. You can even join on the same day and stay after class (if space is available).
The Plan
- 8:30 PM: Class ends. Q&A in front of the studio.
- 8:45 PM: Plan the photoshoot. *
- 9:00 PM: Start shooting until 10 PM.
There will be a sign-up spreadsheet. You'll have to find a group to have a base, flyer, spotter, and a photopher. You need to also plan out what your pose is.
The goal is to get everyone to get lots of photos with minimal time standing around waiting for people to get ready.
On some days, things may run a little different, e.g. bigger group shoots, location shoots.

- Tuesday, 3/17: Studio shoot
- Tuesday, 3/24: Subway shoot (Nick Cave art installation and more)
- Tuesday, 3/31: Studio shoot
On Location Rules
When we shoot on the subway or other locations, rules often require us to stay below the rules for commercial shoots. That means no tripods and no blocking pedestrian traffic.
Professional Photographer
We've had a professional photographer join us sometimes in the past. That's always an amazing opportunity. And the photos are top class. Consider tipping if you like the photo.
Notes:
- Photos may be used for marketing.
- You have to have signed a release of liability waiver to participate.
- Acroyoga has inherent risks of falling. These are heightened by doing acro on a busy subway station with concrete floors. Consider your risk profile. And stay well within your ability limits.
