Founded in 2025, Musica Vivere String Orchestra is an international collective of young professional musicians under the baton of Theodoros Kameris. Based in Tallinn, the orchestra is coming to Helsinki for its first concert outside Estonia. After performing the programme “Across European Strings” in Tallinn on May 6, the Helsinki edition on May 7 will be presented as a special collaborative concert. It will bring together Musica Vivere String Orchestra under the direction of Theodoros Kameris and violinist Maria Goršenina, joined by special guest artist, organist Aare-Paul Lattik.
In this rare constellation of string orchestra and organ, the programme features a rich selection of well-known masterpieces alongside rarely performed contemporary works, offering a diverse musical journey through European string and organ traditions.
