WE MAKE SPACE FOR EVERYBODY
Although everything we do in class has its roots in acrobatics, circus and gymnastics, this is a beginner level class. I pride myself on being able to adapt classes to whoever comes and if you show up, I will do my best to get you surprising yourself with what you achieve. Acro is not only for thin people, fit people, flexible people, young people, or any other group. I truly believe it can be for everyone and promise to always strive to provide a truly inclusive and welcoming space for people to play with the edges of their comfort zone.

ACCESS AND OTHER HOUSEKEEPING
St. Luke’s is located in Cwmbwrla, just off a main bus route. Bus numbers 25, 28 and 36 stop approximately 2 minutes walk away. Parking is on the streets surrounding, so if you are driving please try to car share and come a little early to find a space.
The church has both ramp and step access up from the street. The ground inside the church is level but there are a couple of steps up to some of the toilets.
The church has no heating at present so please make sure that you bring warm clothes that are easy to put on during demonstrations. We will do a thorough warm up to help out, and you are likely to be warm while you’re doing acro, but in between some warm socks and a jumper or dressing gown will help to keep you toasty! While you are doing acro you will need to be wearing flexible, close-fitting clothing. Leggings are ideal, as are joggers. Bear in mind that you might be going upside down so on your top-half it is helpful to have secure clothing that stays put or can be tucked in.
St Luke’s is an old building which is being renovated, so please be aware of your surroundings. If you notice anything that needs attention, please let me know.
We will have a tea break during the session and hot drinks will be provided (donations toward this are gratefully accepted). There is a tap for filling water bottles.
