Want a more sophisticated way to add some 'visible mending" to your faded jeans or favorite cashmere sweater? Level up a well-loved clothing item or two with a quick lesson in creating and transfering a design, followed by a tutorial on some classic embroidery stitches to add an embroidered monogram or name to your clothing. The embroidery can be used to disguise a hole or worn area on the item, or simply to add something fresh and fun.
Bring your own clothing item -- embroidery needles and thread will be provided.
Come with some friends or join on your own - you'll meet fellow art-lovers during this creative night on the town. Bring your fave beer, wine, bubbly, snacks, or soft drink to enjoy while you work.
