🎸 The Belle Vue Acoustic Singarounds/SessionsDownstairs Bar | Saturday May 2nd – Sunday May 3rd
Join us for a weekend where the barrier between the stage and the audience disappears. We’re hosting two full days of Acoustic Singarounds, led by some of the finest local folk, blues, and acoustic performers.
Whether you’re here to lead a chorus, play along, or just soak up the harmonies with a pint in hand, the Downstairs Bar is the place to be.

The Venue: Our Downstairs Bar provides the perfect intimate, "snug" atmosphere for acoustic instruments to shine without the need for massive stacks.
The Community: A respectful space for storytellers, finger-pickers, and harmony hunters.
Musician's Note: While these sessions are led by our scheduled guests, there’s always room for a community spirit. Bring your instrument, grab a seat, and let’s make some noise.

🎸 The Belle Vue Singaround Etiquette
Welcome to the Downstairs Bar! Whether you’re a seasoned session pro or it’s your first time holding a guitar in public, here’s how we keep the music flowing and the vibes high:
1. The "Circle" Spirit
We usually move around the room in a "circle" format. When it’s your turn, you can Sing a song, Play a tune, or simply Pass if you’re just enjoying the atmosphere. No pressure!
2. Listen Like a Legend
The Belle Vue is an acoustic space. When someone is performing—especially during a quiet ballad—please keep the "bar chatter" to a minimum. If you need a long catch-up with a mate, the upstairs or outdoor areas are perfect for a chat.
3. Join the Chorus
If a performer looks at the room and gestures for a chorus, belt it out! Singarounds thrive on those big, shared harmonies. If you’re adding an instrument (like a fiddle or cajon) to someone else's song, just make sure you’re "supporting" the lead, not drowning them out.
4. Tune Up Quietly
We love a perfectly tuned instrument, but try to use a clip-on tuner or step away for a second to tune up while someone else is performing so the "pluck-pluck-pluck" doesn't distract from the song.
5. Respect the Session Leader
Our hosts are there to keep the rhythm of the day going. If the room is packed, they’ll make sure everyone gets a fair shout!
A Note to Newcomers: Don't be shy. Every legend in this room started with their first session. If you're nervous, just let the session leader know—they'll look after you!
