Band: House of Hamill
Date: Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
About: House of Hamill formed unexpectedly when Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan first performed together at the 2014 Folk Alliance International Conference after weather canceled flights for Rose’s bandmates. Their on-stage chemistry was immediate, leading to further collaborations. Four years later, they expanded into a trio when a last-minute lineup change at a festival introduced them to bassist Caroline Browning. Based in Pennsylvania, House of Hamill now performs at major folk festivals across the U.S., earning recognition with their hit “Pound a Week Rise” and viral success with a violin cover of "Sweet Child O’ Mine," which has over 16 million views.

Band: Mare Wakefield and Nomad ft. J.D. Lashley
Date: Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
About: Americana duo. featuring award-winning southeast Texas songwriter Mare Wakefield on guitar and Turkish-born, classically trained Nomad on piano and accordion, this husband-and-wife duo delights audiences with their Americana, old-name country and contemporary folk. Former Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Finalists and Falcon Ridge folk festival emerging Artists, the duo had a song featured in a 2017 Lifetime IV Move. The duo tours with joyful exuberance and regularly performs ail across the US – including Artists in Residence at Grand Canyon National Park! Versatility and travel-scapes are evident in their music. Listeners roam through Arizona deserts, Oklahoma oil fields and Amsterdam canals. Journeys go inward too, exploring hope, heartbreak and barroom brawls. Story and song are woven together by Mare’s intimate delivery and Nomad’s exquisite piano and accordion.
J.D. Lashley: If Folk Singer Todd Snider dropped his kid brother on his head, he’d have probably wound up a lot like JD Lashley. JD works hard and writes harder, trying to pluck jokes and rhymes out of the grind. His style is heavily influenced by Americana and Roots music, and he’s not afraid to sneak in a little Hip Hop… Something for everyone.
