This workshop will dive deeper into the ACEs study in detail, its findings, impacts, and how it has been expanded and implemented. We will cover expansive assessments such as that created by Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, suggested practices when working with survivors of ACEs, resources, and additional reading materials/studies, and we will explore the many applications that ACE style assessments do and/or can have, including some considerations for barriers or limitations of such. Participants will be allowed to unpack their own ACE scores and their potential impact on their mental, emotional, and physical health as well as behavior. At the same time, we also explore our client's potential experiences with ACEs.
