About this Event
Decision-makers are actively seeking to encourage investments in “climate-smart” activities and otherwise take effective, efficient, and prudent actions that will measurably and verifiably reduce emissions and remove carbon, methane, and other greenhouse gases from the atmosphere. With the support of the Doris Duke Foundation, the Data Foundation has launched the Climate Data Collaborative (CDC) to facilitate the development of consensus-based approaches for collecting, analyzing, and sharing data that reliably quantifies and verifies greenhouse gas reduction and removal activities in the U.S.
Join the Data Foundation and the Doris Duke Foundation for a panel discussion of how different sectors are – and can – work with the private sector and governments to provide the tools and delivery platforms for more transparent and useful access to credible greenhouse data and quantification methodologies to better inform scalable project level decision making.
