Advocacy Lunch N’ Learn with Eric Sneddon from America's Credit Union

Eric Sneddon serves as the Advocacy Operations Lead and Executive Assistant to the Chief Advocacy Officer at America’s Credit Unions, where he helps coordinate the organization’s federal legislative, regulatory, political, and grassroots advocacy efforts. Since joining the credit union movement in 2022, Eric has played a key role in ensuring credit unions maintain a strong, unified voice in Washington.

Prior to his work in credit union advocacy, Eric served in the U.S. House of Representatives as Director of Scheduling & Operations for Congresswoman Julia Brownley and brings additional experience from multiclient lobbying and political campaigns. This background provides him with a unique, behind‑the‑scenes perspective on how federal decisions are made, and how credit union professionals at every level can influence the process.

Originally from Southern California, Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UCLA and is passionate about empowering advocates to protect the credit union mission and the communities they serve.
