The unimaginable hits the home of Maddie Corman and now she's left wondering, now what? Accidentally Brave tells the story of Maddie as she details her life after her husband, of 21 years, was arrested and pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.
The story focuses on her journey through trauma, public shame, and her controversial decision to stay married to him, while navigating a new, broken "normal", after he underwent rehabilitation and registered as a sex offender.
In this unflinchingly honest one-woman play, Maddie tells an inspiring true story about discovering a new normal when everything she thought she knew came undone. With raw vulnerability and unexpected humor, actress and playwright Maddie Corman delivers her story of perseverance and hope when the unthinkable tests her marriage, family, and values.
