Accessible BirdingVisitors Center

Accessible Birding events at Cantigny aim to make a fun activity available to all. Ideal for those with limited mobility, the outing will last about 90 minutes or maybe a bit longer if we get carried away. Participants should feel free to stay as long as they wish. We will be on firm or hard surfaces — fine for those using canes, walkers and wheelchairs. We’ll search for birds at a slow and easy pace, staying fairly close to the Visitors Center.
Beginning birders are welcome, and binoculars will be available for borrowing (first-come, first-served). Wheelchairs are also available for sign-out at the Visitors Center information kiosk.
Limit 15 participants (including caregivers). All must register (including Cantigny Park members) by using the button below. The $5 program cost includes parking.
