These mornings are for individuals, families, and groups who would enjoy a more disability-adapted museum experience. Along with a calmer, more sensory-friendly setting, this program includes ASL interpretation and other accessibility resources.
Guests who are neurodiverse or have other disabilities are welcome to participate in the optional activities or explore the museum exhibition galleries at their own pace.
An American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter, sponsored by Colonial Life, is available during the morning provided by certified interpreters through the SC School for the Deaf and Blind. Activities featuring ASL interpretation are noted (ASL) below.
General Admission to Accessibility Morning is FREE for participants.
