Accessibility as a Catalyst for Better Digital Products

Singapore is digitising fast. But who gets left behind when accessibility is an afterthought?

Most digital products are designed for an imaginary average user. But when we design with people with disabilities - not just for them - something unexpected happens: the products get better for everyone.

To mark Global Accessibility Awareness Day, design agency 55 Minutes is bringing together people with lived experience of disability alongside accessibility experts and advocates from Singapore's public and private sectors for an honest, practical conversation about what inclusive design actually looks like, and how to make it happen inside your organisation.

This isn't another awareness talk. It's a call to action. The goal is that you'll leave with the conviction and the information to move digital accessibility from a "nice-to-have" to a genuine business priority.
