About this Event

Developing on previous feedback we are reviewing how people access the Smithills Estate. We want to ensure the right access in the right places for the health of our local ecosystems and people.

Specific changes cannot be guaranteed at this time, instead we are gathering qualitative data on thoughts and ideas for the Smithills Estate. This includes any wants and needs from key users and marginalised groups.

At the meeting, you will join focus groups of 4-8 people to discuss questions about how the Smithills Estate could be improved, as well as any positives you’d like to highlight. Each group will share their thoughts with the room, and there will also be an open discussion where you can ask questions or raise any final points.

We aim to gather feedback from people living in the specified location. If you are unable to attend the consultation in your local area but are keen to share your thoughts, you can join another session.

You can also get involved in our access work online by filling in our survey, including entering our prize draw. We recommend you do this before attending in person.
