About this Event
Event Description
With a grid approaching 50% clean energy in Colorado, at any time, the grid can be very clean or quite dirty, depending on the weather. This presents challenges to grid operators but also unprecedented choices for electric customers. This talk will describe these challenges, focusing on timely issues such as the new Time-of-Use rates, EV-charging programs, and renewable week-ahead forecasts that enable faster progress—inviting active customer participation and choice in ways that can quickly lead to cleaner energy at the lowest possible cost.
