Accelerated Crime Scene Investigation Foundations
If you have been looking for a more accessible way to begin learning crime scene investigation, this program was designed with you in mind.
Accelerated Crime Scene Investigation Foundations is a 3-weekend hybrid pilot program created for aspiring crime scene investigators who want a shorter and more affordable alternative to a longer training academy. This program combines virtual training with on-site hands-on instruction to help participants build foundational CSI knowledge and strengthen the habits that support professional growth in the field.
This is a foundational program. It is designed to introduce participants to core crime scene investigation concepts, scene awareness, documentation mindset, and investigative thinking. It does not cover advanced specialty topics such as bloodstain pattern analysis, ballistics, or impression evidence.
Program Format
This program will run over 3 weekends beginning in June 2026 and includes:
Virtual training for foundational concepts and guided instruction
On-site hands-on training for applied learning and skill development
The hybrid format is ideal for students who want both structure and practical exposure in a shorter training experience.
June 20 & 21, 2026: Virtual Training
June 27 & 28, 2026: On-Site Training/Hands-On Training
July 11 & 12, 2026: On-Site Training/Hands-On Training
