Bob Ellis’ curiosity and passion for learning began in childhood, building go-karts and experimenting with electronics. In high school, he excelled in motocross, ranking in the top 10. Choosing college over motocross, Bob earned a Mechanical Engineering degree and led significant projects at HP and in ultrasound technology.

Bob’s career in business started at Coopers and Lybrand, where he implemented lean practices. At EMC, he scaled production dramatically, cut costs, and improved quality. He later managed Symmetrix Firmware Engineering, driving innovation and achieving six-sigma reliability.

As the industry evolved, Bob transitioned to Agile consulting, helping organizations build high-performing teams. Recently, he has focused on leadership coaching and strategic advising, guiding nonprofits and businesses in evidence-based decision-making and stakeholder experience.
