ACBS UK&ROI Chapter Conference FREE Tickets

The ACBS UK&ROI Chapter Board are hosting a conference in Manchester, UK, from 14th - 16th November 2025. We would love to welcome in as many people as possible to continue to grow the work of contextual behavioural sciences.

In line with our values of inclusion, commitment to learning and development, and growing our community, we held a fundraising event in June to raise funds for tickets to the upcoming conference. We are now very pleased to announce that we have 24 free tickets to those that meet the eligibility criteria!

In order to apply for a ticket you must meet the following:

• have a personal income of less than £35k (or equivalent)
• have no other ways of accessing financial support to be able to attend - i.e. your ticket cost would not otherwise be paid for by a University/institution budget
• without financial support you would otherwise not attend the conference

You may be a student, a person in employment, or a person currently seeking employment.

There will be a £30 deposit required to secure your free ticket. The deposit will be fully refunded after you have attended the conference. Non-attendance at the conference after requesting a free ticket will result in the deposit being retained. You will be responsible for the cost of travel and accommodation.

The ticket will include morning and afternoon refreshments, and a three course lunch on each day.

Please note, you may be asked for proof of income to support your application for a free ticket.

The process for getting your ticket will be:

1. Fill in your details to claim a ticket
2. Your details will be passed to the event organisers, who will contact you directly
3. You will be sent an invoice to pay a £30 deposit
4. Pay the £30
5. You choose a 1, 2, or 3 day ticket, based on your availability to attend
6. The event organisers will then register you for the conference
7. Attend the conference and register on arrival to get a full refund of your deposit
